4. Fees & Scholarship

Tuition Fee: 3,100 USD/Year(Chinese-Taught); 5,600 USD/Year(English-Taught); 4,200 USD/Year(Art)
Accommodation Fee: 12 USD/Day(single room);
Scholarship:
A: Free tuition, Free Accommodation, 350 USD/Month(First year), (only for 1+4 Chinese-Taught);
B: Free tuition;

C: Scholarship of 700 USD

5. Application Materials

5.1 A valid ordinary passport (photo page and Chinese visa page, valid for at least 6 months);
5.2 High school graduation certificate or equivalent educational certificate. For fresh high school graduates, the expected graduation certificate issued by their own school is required. After admission, the original graduation certificate must be provided for verification upon registration;
5.3 Academic transcripts or internationally recognized standardized test scores (A-LEVEL/IB/IGCSE/AP/SAT/ACT/BC/UEC/STPM, etc.) for all high school courses;
5.4 Proof of proficiency in Chinese or English:
Application for Chinese Language Teaching: Provide HSK Level 4 or above certificate (scholarship applicants need to provide HSK Level 5 or above certificate). If all courses in high school are taught in Chinese, applicants are exempt from submitting HSK certificate and need to submit proof of Chinese language teaching from the school;
Applying for English teaching: Applicants need to provide scores of IELTS ≥ 5.5/TOEFL ≥ 70 or other equivalent language proficiency scores recognized by our school. If all courses in high school are taught in English, applicants are exempt from submitting IELTS/TOEFL scores and need to submit proof of English teaching from the school. English speakers do not need to provide proof of English proficiency;
5.5 Personal statement: 600 words or more, including personal and family introductions, reasons for choosing Huali and major, written in Chinese (taught in Chinese) or English (taught in English);
5.6 Proof of no criminal record. If the country is unable to issue a certificate of no criminal record, a commitment letter of no criminal record can be signed, and international students in China can submit a certificate of no negative performance during their school years;
5.7 Economic guarantee certificate;
5.8 Foreigner’s physical examination form (valid for no more than 6 months) or current valid visa in China (scholarship applicants must submit it);
5.9 In addition to the above application materials, supplementary materials are required when necessary (students applying for design majors also need to provide at least one artwork);
**For certificates in languages other than Chinese and English, the original notarized copy of the Chinese or English translation must be provided. Regardless of admission or not, application materials will not be refunded.
