Brief Introduction
The school is headquartered in Guangzhou, a famous city in southern China. It has multiple campuses including University Town, Dongfeng Road, Longdong, Panyu, Shahe, and Jieyang. The campus covers a total area of more than 5,300 acres and has a beautiful environment. At present, the school has a total of 25 colleges, 2 public course teaching departments

There are 1 types of rights and 17 types of professional master’s degree granting rights.At the same time, persons with equivalent academic qualifications can apply for the right to confer master’s degrees. Currently, there are more than 50,000 full-time students on campus, including more than 39,000 undergraduates and more than 12,000 graduate students. It also recruits adult academic education students, students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and international students at different levels. Over the past 60 years, it has trained more than 500,000 specialized talents for the society. The employment rate of graduates has been among the top among universities in Guangdong Province for many years.
The school adheres to the strategy of strengthening the school with talents and builds a team of high-quality teachers. There are currently more than 4,000 faculty and staff, nearly 800 high-level talents of various types, and 17 provincial and ministerial-level “innovation teams”.
